1954 ~ 2013
Born April 5, 1954 to Harry L. Barnum, Jr. and Oma K. Hickman, Scott passed away April 17, 2013 due to heart disease.
Preceded in death by brothers, Richard Barnum-Reece and Robert Barnum-Reece.
Survived by sisters, Kathy Ray (Brent) and Sharon Johnson (Tommy) and brother, Brent Barnum (Bonnie). Also many loving friends and extended family.
Though we will miss his compassionate and loving personality, we rejoice in the fact that he has escaped the grip of so many demons. There will be no formal services. To his many friends, celebrate the way Scott would have wanted-have a drink and play his music.

I returned from California and was reading the weekend newspapers when I saw the obituary. I called some people and passed the word and I hope that there are more who respond. I remember Scott mostly for his smile, attitude, and that big crop of blonde hair. It seems that he was always in a good mood. My sympathies to his family, they have suffered the loss of a great guy. Husbands.

Scott... A true Friend.. His smile, kindness and friendship were a big part of our high school years. He cheered us on.. We are glad we were able to get in touch with Scott for our 40th reunion, to see that smile on his profile page and hear a bit about where he's been since high school.
