What could be better than getting together with old friends with one thing in mind…Having some fun! There is so much to enjoy, beside the Reunion Activities that are planned for each evening, why not take some time during the day for some relaxing? May we suggest:

 1. Looking into what there is to do at Thanksgiving Point. You’ll find everything from Butterflies to Dinosaurs. From Gardens to Farm Animals..pick and choose your activities here. Check out what is available at: thanksgivingpoint.org .  May we suggest you remember to ask for the “Senior Discount” it saves you some dollars or better yet buy the “Explorer Pass” and you can hit all 5 main events in one day for only $38.00. (Even if you only make it to two of the main events you still save money by getting the “Explorer Pass”.                                                                                                                                                                       **There are many other thing to enjoy at Thanksgiving Point, 3-d Movies on their Mammoth Screens, Glass Blowing, Wellness Spas and so much more.  See their websites for more information.

2. You love to SHOP?  The Outlets at Traverse Mountain are just UP the street from Thanksgiving Point.

3, Don’t miss Cabela’s for you Outdoor Lovers! Only 5 minutes away from Thanksgiving Point, it is a place you can spend some time enjoying their amazing Wildlife display and spend some money shopping for some great outdoor equipment

4. Hike to the Timpanogas Caves. The only access to the cave system is by walking a strenuous 1 1/2-mile-paved trail, which rises 1,092 ft to an elevation of 6,730 feet above sea level. The round-trip hike and tour of the cave system takes about three hours. The actual Cave Tour costs $12.00 though “Seniors” get in for 50% off.  The Kicker here is to take care of your Ticker. We are “Seniors” you know!.

5. Biking/Scooter fun/ Walking.  While there is the Thanksgiving Point Trailhead that feeds into the Jordan River Trail, with many good reviews, There is also many other trails in the area to try…Just GOOGLE Bike Trails near Thanksgiving Point, in Lehi Utah to see more.

6. Whatever you do invite an “Old Friend” or two along…What could be more fun than enjoying the day with a friend?  There are lots of eateries to just go grab a bite to eat and enjoy chatting the afternoon away. The “Bout Time Pub and Grub” is open at 10:00 am for lunch and drinks, located at 1820 W. Traverse Pkwy Suite H LehiUtah. It is just up the street from The Great Room where our August 6th Dinner and Program will be held.
