He was a good friend to me too. Being in the same Ward, I saw him every Sunday as well. Active in Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts together. I remember my mother was a Cub Scout Den Leader, and Ricks father was our Scoutmaster when we were older. Rick wasn't able to go on a Mission because of hid disesase though he would have like to have served. I miss him.

Sometime in our Glendale Jr. High years, he came back to school after being gone for several days and told me he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's and did not know how long he had to live. Little did I know, at that time, that his little sister, Pam, would marry my little brother, Ed. Rick went into remission for a while and got married, But his cancer returned and he died in 1976. He is survived by his wife, LouAnn Shelton Bosen. A quiet man - A Good friend.
